9/11 oh how the years go by

So for everyone who knows me, they will know I was affected BIG time by the 9/11 to a point where I was moved to get a tattoo the other year. This year I not been able to sum up my feelings in words...I've left it the whole day and still i'm clueless...So instead I donned my hoodie and necklace. Gave a minute silence and sang the star spangled banner.

9/11 - we will never forget
R.I.P to all who lost the lives in the attack
I pray and send love to all those directly and non directly affected by such evil.

I believe that LOVE is the answer and I believe that one day John Lennon will be right and the world will live as one.

Oh, say can you see by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars thru the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

On the shore, dimly seen through the mists of the deep,
Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep,
As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?
Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam,
In full glory reflected now shines in the stream:
'Tis the star-spangled banner! Oh long may it wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

And where is that band who so vauntingly swore
That the havoc of war and the battle's confusion,
A home and a country should leave us no more!
Their blood has washed out their foul footsteps' pollution.
No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight, or the gloom of the grave:
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war's desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

United we stand.

New addiction.

About a month back when I got back from America I realised quite how gross I had become (like everybody I put on a freaking stone out there how awful is that?) and I wanted to do something about it, anyone who knows me well would know this would mean endless hours of exercise and crash dieting before getting to a point of passing out and ending up in hospital. (Wouldn't be the first time let's put it that way) Well so many of my friends these days are into these tea and shake diets... and honestly I had tried everyone in the book and none of tem ever seemed to work for me...but I heard of two... one that my best friend was on in Australia... skinnymetea and as much as that looked awesome... half of the products couldn't be shipped international....one called herbalife which a few of my friends were actually on...so...I asked around got some information and eventually ended up messaging my wonderful and perfect (she really is) friend Sarah, I like found out the day before she actually works for the company so it was PERFECT and she managed to get me started....
It's been two weeks and can I say I am already hooked on it. I drink two shakes a day, have two hebal teas a day take a few pills and then am free to eat little snacks and a meal everyday and honest to god I have never felt better.  My skin feels better I cannot describe it.. i'm more awake...i'm not crashing..i'm happier than what I ever was...i'm feeling amazing...I would seriously recommend it...even more so with proper exercise it works a dream.
I'm really into this now and would love to work for them in the future. So many people are telling me this is one of those fad diets that cons money out of you but please TRY it... you will thank yourself for it within two days... that's seriously how long it took me... AMAZING

Chicago and homeward bound..... :(

So for my last weekend in America we figured that as we needed to drive to Chicago for me to catch my plane it was worth staying the night and seeing Chicago before I went which worked for me perfectly. Oh man... I've never been to a part of America so built up I was in shock and i'm like from London I grew up in the how built up concrete jungle but really...Insane...I felt sometimes like I couldn't breathe just because the buildings were so tall and so close together you couldn't see anything but walls.. but still.... I GOT TO GO TO THE CHEESECAKE FACTORY....!!!!!! this is like a BIG deal for me and it has to be my favourite restaurant in the entire universe... I was super happy when Stef was like... 'oh we can go there they have one in Chicago' to have gone a whole year...then to have that again.... ahhh heaven on a plate....:) :) oh I want to go back right now and have more! my diet would get ruined if I lived near a cheesecake factory!
I also got to see my beautiful friend Quincey who I have not seen in 6 years and it was perfect... we both kinda stood staring at eachother for 5 seconds before we realised who each other was.... time changes things lol...seriously the happiest moment of my life...I was so happy...
The navy pier, ha perfect weather...NOT! the second we got their it started pouring down.. perfect... but the firework display was amazing regardless :)
AND LINCON PARK ZOO.... that was the best zoo I have been to... and the free one too. plus left over cheesecake factory for lunch :)
I was gutted to go home...I held it together till I got on the plane and the second the plane started down the runway I burst into tears and started hugging my knees like a total fool....

LOVE.
America I love you. Until next time!!!!

OH CANADA

My last week away with my beautiful friends we travelled over to Canada and spent time with friends and family in Grand Bend Ontario. Seriously oh my god...it was perfect...so hot and so beautiful I fell in love right away...ok I spent WAY to much money than what I intended on and I got burnt which I never do but I seriously had the best time ever....it broke my heart so badly to have to leave...even more so because I would not see everyone again as I was going home at the end of the weekend.. best...and worst... part of my time in the states.

4th July weekend part one parade and fireworks.

4th July 2013...possibly one of the most perfect weekends of my life, legit. Also my first ever 4th of July spent in the beautiful country of America. I spent my weekend with all of my family up in Hesperia and to be more precise white cloud which is just off of there. For me getting to see an American july 4th up front like that was amazing.
Beautiful memories
